Dynamic Environmental Consulting Firm providing a wide range of environmental consulting, planning, landscape architecture, and regulatory compliance services; actively seeks 3 to 5 year experienced Environmental Regulatory Specialist with an applied knowledge of State and Federal regulatory compliance including Clean Water Act, Endangered Species Act, CEQA/NEPA, and general permitting to assist in our environmental planning and regulatory compliance department.
This is a full time career opportunity to join our Rocklin, CA office.

Our experienced biologists, environmental specialists, planners, public meeting facilitators, water resources specialists, landscape architects, GIS specialists, and graphic designers provide the expertise in research, planning, and project execution to consistently exceed our clients' expectations. Our technology services include aerial imagery, remote sensing and data interpretation, GIS application and database development, cartography, web site development, graphic design, publication graphics, illustration, interpretive signage, Computer Aided Design (CAD), 3D modeling, and visual simulation. This variety of complementary skills and services allows us to meet the unique needs of any project.
Environmental Regulatory Specialist Responsibilities and
Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in environmental science, biology, engineering, or a related field.
Minimum of three to five years of related environmental regulatory specialist experience is required.
Previous technical writing experience and excellent research and time-management skills also required.
The ideal candidate will have knowledge of, and experience with, a broad range of environmental principals, regulations, policies, procedures, laws, and techniques sufficient to insure that regulatory work is in compliance with applicable legal standards and other requirements, and that such work is implemented in an environmentally sustainable manner.
Must be able to identify, interpret, and evaluate a variety of regulatory factors and related natural, cultural, and social conditions and to prepare or evaluate the adequacy of environmental documentation.
Candidate will be skilled at developing innovative solutions and working effectively with clients and regulators.
