Financial Analyst

Position Summary: The Financial Analyst will have to compile and analyze financial information required to generate annual, quarterly and monthly rebates for accrual at month-end and subsequent payment. The most suitable candidate will also create and analyze annual, quarterly and monthly reports, and ensure that rebate or / and financial information has been accurately and timely calculated and recorded. The individual performs periodic reports as required by the department and collaborates with the members of the other teams in order to manage customer information and ensure the rebate calculations are accurately conducted. When the calculations are performed, the Financial Analyst begins to work with AP / AR with an aim to facilitate deductions or investigate requests as required by every client. And finally, the incumbent will have to provide the general accounting team representatives with assistance with the other duties.
Basic Duties and Key Functions of the Financial Analyst Position:
- Co-work closely with the heads of the Functional Department, including Commercial Strategy and Customer Service in order to ensure accurate customer data is successfully loaded to the systems.
- Take responsibility for creating and utilizing reporting to have an opportunity to efficiently conduct financial analysis including but not limited to calculations of rebates required to be paid directly to the clients.
- Performing analysis of the trends regarding various customer or rebate types, check internal processes for accuracy solutions or potential efficiency, and taking the most suitable actions in order to address all the found issues.
- Help to review the customer contracts in order to ensure sufficient balance sheet reserve requirements.
- Stay aware of all the market and industry trends.
- Cope with the general accounting duties as required, including balance sheet and journal entries requirements.
- Support the following areas: forecasting, budgeting and analysis.
- Take responsibility for building the strong relations with the company customers, external contracts as well as trade experts.
- Accomplish the whole spectrum of the assigned projects.
Requirements
In order to join our team, the Financial Analyst must possess the following qualifications.
Certification / Education:
- Bachelors Degree in BA or BS in Accounting or Finance OR / AND equivalent experience and training in the relevant area.
Required Level of Knowledge:
- Understanding and ability to apply pricing strategies and general marketing principles.
- Efficient knowledge of accounting practices and financial analysis.
Previous Experience Required:
- From 2 to 4 years of related and relevant professional experience.
Abilities and Skills:
- Exceptional MS Excel and Word skills.
- Ability to solve multiple problems simultaneously.
- Solid analytical and technical skills.
- Brilliancy in oral and written communication.
- Ability to accurately organize, supervise and direct projects.
- Ability to make use of all related software and hardware applications.
- Solid Personal Computer knowledge, including Planning, Excel, Cognos 8 BI and Lawson.
Education
Bachelors Degree in BA or BS in Accounting or Finance

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
