Located at the Big Gun Quarry by Quarry Park in Rocklin, California, guests can experience the many adventure challenges (from zip lines to challenge course elements, rappelling, and more) as they explore the historic Big Gun Quarry.

The position of Sales and Reservation Crew Member is a part-time position.
Position Description Sales and Reservations Crew Members provide customer service and ensure that all of our guests have a seamless, enjoyable reservation and admission process.
All candidates must share our philosophy of excellent customer service and our focus on excellence and safety.
Applicants must have a positive attitude, a strong work ethic, problem-solving skills, and good communication skills.
Summary Of Essential Job Functions Provides excellent customer service to all guests of QPA Ensures every guest has completed pre-entrance safety screening in accordance with QPA's safety standards (the ability to gracefully handle situations where guests do not meet participant requirements is a must!).
Properly delivers instructions on how to reserve time slots Performs opening and closing duties and ensures cash drawer count is correct Maintains the cleanliness and tidiness of all guest areas Has an understanding of local ecology and history Attends ongoing training throughout the season Comfortable with enforcing CA state COVID-19 precautions when applicable.
Qualifications Must be 15 (with workers permit) or older Must pass initial training Ability to communicate and work as an effective team member Ability to speak in front of large groups effectively Ability to work long hours and irregular shifts in a multi-task environment Speaks fluent English and uses cordial manners Must have reliable transportation Dependable, responsible, reliable, and able to take directions as needed Experience in the customer service realm preferred Strong risk management experience preferred Physical Abilities Required This position may require sitting for long periods of time Must be able to lift 50 lbs Must have dexterity in hands and ability to work with computers and point-of-sale systems Ability to work long hours and irregular shifts in a multi-task environment Work Schedule Must have a flexible schedule with full availability on the weekends and holidays.
Sales and Reservations Crew Members are classified as part-time, hourly employees.
Working with the general public requires the ability to adjust quickly to any situation, all while managing risks and providing excellent customer service.
QPA makes no guarantee regarding the number of hours a Sales and Reservation Crew Member will receive.
Work hours in a given week fluctuate based on the number of guests.
Scheduling priority is determined by both employee availability, skill set, and performance.
The final work schedule for each day will be emailed the previous afternoon.
A schedule of guaranteed days off will be made in advance.
Training Upon hiring, there will be complete training on the tasks and duties involved in the position, this includes but is not limited to; Reservation Software, effective customer engagement, POS system operations, and participant safety pre-screening.
Wages and Benefits Wages are earned by the hour.
CA accrued paid sick leave.
Uniform and Gear Staff uniforms will be provided by QPA.
All staff are required to maintain excellent hygiene and maintain a professional appearance.
